Comfortable Stay with Great Breakfast

The kids loved the scrumptious breakfast with a variety of options including tasty bacon and eggs. The staff was friendly. Don't miss the freshly brewed coffee in the morning!

I was actually surprised by the cleanliness of our room and the excellent breakfast options. It was just a short stroll to the Jimmy Stewart Museum and IUP Co-op Park, perfect for my city walking adventures.

The hotel was quiet and very close to IUP.

Pool was closed. Treadmill in the fitness room didn't work. Rusty bar in the shower. You could just tell the place needed some TLC.

Good location and it was clean.

The mattresses were absolutely horrible. They were literally sunken in. Not only were they completely uncomfortable, they were so noisy and creaked every time you moved. None of us got any sleep because every time someone moved it would wake you up. Worst night of NO sleep ever.

The Holiday Inn Express provided anice and neat stay with friendly staff who were attentive to our needs. The beds were cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the high-speed wireless internet was reliable, a plus for my work tasks. The hotel's proximity to the IUP campus made it convenient for my meetings.

Check-in was problematic and the breakfast area could use better maintenance.

Continental breakfast was ok

The swimming pool. Which, was the main reason we stayed there. But, when we got to the pool, it was pretty disgusting. Dirty towels thrown all over the ground. Large hair balls in the pool itself, and a lot of dirt on the bottom of the pool. Pretty disgusting.

This was just a good pick for a weekend stopover in Indiana with value for money. The room and hotel overall were very clean, probably one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. Avoid the ground floor if you want a quieter experience.

Web site did not say anything about pool bring closed. Thought I booked roo. With jacuzzi due that was what was pictured. Got to hotel & they tried to put us in non-smoking room on smoking floor. Had to pay extra to get jacuzzi room on nonsmoking floor. Staff at front desk did not seem very happy to take care of guest. When toilet didn't flush I had to go to front desk & get plunger.

The beds were amazing and the facilities were very clean.

The lights were a little too bright, and whether the sink light was on, or the light on the nightstand, it was difficult to move around the room and use a light without waking the other person up.

I appreciated the inviting and fresh decor throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly. My room was clean, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable.
